Friends of the Library Annual Meeting In-Person
The Friends of the Belleville Area District Library will be holding their Annual Membership Meeting, celebrating 40 years since its inception. The program, “Building a Bridge,” will portray the progress of the Friends from the past to the future. Luncheon refreshments, door prizes, and tours of the library and current art exhibit will be included in the celebration. Members and the public are invited to attend.
There will be a short business meeting to give annual reports and elect officers for 2025. The following slate of officers has been approved by the current board. The proposed officers are Donna Gilkey-Lavin, President; Katerina Tyner, Vice President; Cheryl Owen, Secretary and Manny Lavin, Treasurer. Any additional nominations will be taken from the floor. Each attending member of the Friends will have one vote.
